Question 1

Is East Clare Golf Village part of a points or exchange network?

Accepted Answer

The resort is independent. We don't have verified information on any exchange network affiliation, so we'd recommend checking directly with the resort or owners' association if that's important to you before buying.

Question 2

What fees should I check before buying a resale week here?

Accepted Answer

Since this is an independent resort, resale typically goes through the resort's own owners' association or management rather than a brand transfer desk. Ask the seller or the resort directly for the current transfer fee and the latest annual maintenance fee before agreeing a price, as these aren't published figures and can change from year to year.

Question 3

What does a resale buyer actually receive?

Accepted Answer

A resale buyer takes over the seller's rights to the specific week and cottage type at East Clare Golf Village, subject to the resort's own transfer process. Because exact transfer terms aren't independently verified for this resort, buyers should confirm with the owners' association exactly what is and isn't included before completing a purchase.

Question 4

How long does a transfer usually take at an independent resort like this?

Accepted Answer

Transfer timelines vary by resort and are set by the owners' association or management company rather than a central brand office, so it's best to ask the resort directly for their current processing time once a sale is agreed.

Question 5

How does selling or renting my week work on BidMyTimeshare.com?

Accepted Answer

You list your week yourself and set your own asking price. Buyers or renters contact you directly through the platform, there's no commission on the sale, and you pay only a one-time listing fee to have your week listed.
