Question 1

How do I sell my week at Club Turquoise on BidMyTimeshare.com?

Accepted Answer

You list your week directly on the marketplace, set your own asking price, and buyers contact you through the platform. There's no commission charged on the sale — you simply pay a one-time listing fee to get your week in front of buyers.

Question 2

What transfer fee applies when a week at Club Turquoise changes hands?

Accepted Answer

Club Turquoise is an independent resort, so resales are handled through its own owners' association or on-site management rather than a branded developer. Ask management directly for the current transfer fee before agreeing a price with a buyer, as this isn't standardised and can change.

Question 3

Does the owners' association have a right of first refusal on resales?

Accepted Answer

Policies like this vary between independent resorts and aren't always publicly listed. Buyers and sellers should check directly with Club Turquoise's management or owners' association whether any right of first refusal applies to a resale before finalising a deal.

Question 4

What does a resale buyer actually receive when buying a week here?

Accepted Answer

A resale buyer typically receives the usage rights to the specific week once the transfer is processed by resort management. Don't assume anything extra, such as exchange company membership or bonus weeks, is included unless it's explicitly confirmed in writing as part of the sale.

Question 5

What should I check about annual maintenance fees before buying?

Accepted Answer

Ask the resort or management office for the current annual maintenance fee and how it's billed, since this isn't published centrally for independent resorts like Club Turquoise and can change from year to year.
