How to sell WorldMark by Wyndham credits
You can sell a WorldMark account privately, in full or in part: WorldMark's own ownership change forms let you split an account with a new owner. Resale brokers list a $399 transfer fee and no right of first refusal has been found, but resale buyers do not get Club Pass exchange, and VIP and TravelShare status stays with the seller's family. If your loan is paid off, Wyndham's Certified Exit programme is another route, although owners reported in May 2025 that WorldMark surrenders were on hold.

What you are selling
WorldMark owners hold vacation credits. WorldMark's Club Guidelines, effective January 2025, describe Premier credits as perpetual and Standard credits as lasting 40 years, and say that both are transferable subject to the owner's agreement.
Buyers want the same details that a WorldMark resale company asks sellers for: your anniversary month, annual credits, unused credits, credits available to borrow, any loan balance, whether dues are current and any existing reservations. Have them ready before you advertise.
What a resale buyer receives
WorldMark's Club Pass exchange is limited to developer-purchased credits, and owners report that VIP and TravelShare status transfers only to family members. Wyndham Rewards terms say that the elevated Rewards level of TravelShare and Elite members ends when the owner sells and does not pass to the buyer.
A licensed WorldMark broker says that when a resale account is combined into a buyer's existing account, the buyer keeps their existing anniversary date.
Your options
- Sell the whole account privately. Advertise the credits, agree the price with a buyer and request the transfer through WorldMark's ownership change forms.
- Sell part of the account. WorldMark's forms allow an account to be split with a new or existing owner, so you can sell the credits you no longer use.
- Assign credits instead of selling. You can give available credits to another WorldMark owner as a one-time use transfer, up to twice your annual credit allocation, provided both owners are current on dues, loan payments and reservation fees. Borrowed credits and housekeeping services cannot be assigned, and unused credits carry over only into the following year.
- Ask about Certified Exit. Exploring the options with a specialist on 855-312-9040 costs nothing. WorldMark's page said in June 2026 that owners whose loan is paid in full can return their ownership in as few as 90 days, while Wyndham's corporate page estimated about 20 weeks in September 2026; owners reported in May 2025 that WorldMark surrenders had been put on hold.
- Transfer it within the family. Through the same programme a WorldMark ownership can be transferred to an immediate family member free of charge.
Setting a realistic price
Resale prices are set by what buyers pay today and are usually far below the developer price. Buyers compare the number and type of credits, the dues and what a resale account includes, so describe your account accurately and price it against similar listings.
A WorldMark resale company says its offers depend on the account being free of any lien or past-due balance, so clear any arrears before you advertise.
How the sale works, step by step
Gather your account details
Note your anniversary month, annual and unused credits, credits available to borrow, existing reservations, any loan balance and whether your dues are current.
Clear any arrears
Bring dues and loan payments up to date so that there is no lien or past-due balance on the account when a buyer makes an offer.
Advertise your credits
Publish a listing with the credits you are selling, the credit type, the dues and your asking price. On BidMyTimeshare.com buyers contact you directly, and you decide which offer to accept.
Agree the sale in writing
Put the price, the credits included, who pays the $399 transfer fee and the timetable into a sales contract signed by you and the buyer.
Request the ownership change
Request the complete transfer, or the split, through WorldMark's online ownership change forms, which go to Wyndham's Title Services Department. Upload the supporting documents; the team gets in touch if it needs more and sends a confirmation letter when the change is complete.
Wait for the confirmation
Owners reported that a private transfer took about six months, from September 2024 to March 2025, and that the seller could keep using the account until then. Title Services answers account questions on 1-800-537-6497 or at [email protected].
Avoid resale and exit scams
The US Federal Trade Commission warns that resale scammers guarantee an easy sale or say they already have a buyer, then ask the owner to pay thousands of dollars upfront (September 2025). WorldMark's Scambusters team warns about companies that falsely claim to represent WorldMark by Wyndham or ARDA and take upfront fees or a power of attorney for exit services that are never completed, and WorldMark says it will never ask owners to pay anything upfront for help exiting.
- Report suspected scams to Scambusters on 866-515-6989 or 855-596-9233, or at [email protected].
- Never give a power of attorney to a company that contacts you with an offer to take over or cancel your account.
- Before you pay or sign anything, search the company's name together with the words 'scam' or 'complaint' and get every promise and fee in writing, as the FTC advises.
- On BidMyTimeshare.com you pay a one-time fee to publish your advertisement. We do not deal with buyers for you, take part in the sale or promise that your credits will sell.
