Rental Terms
Timeshare Global Solutions Limited · bidmytimeshare.com
1. Platform Rules
All rental offers must be placed through the BidMyTimeshare.com platform only. Offers submitted outside the platform are not binding and cannot be enforced.
2. Rental Agreement
When a landlord (timeshare owner) accepts a rental offer:
- The platform automatically generates a digital rental agreement.
- The landlord enters their bank account number and the payment due date.
- The rental agreement is sent to both parties by email as a PDF attachment with signing instructions. Both parties are responsible for signing and exchanging the agreement in accordance with those instructions.
3. Payment
The renter pays the landlord directly by bank transfer. Payment must be made within 7 days of signing, or by the due date stated in the rental agreement — whichever comes first. The platform is not involved in the payment.
4. Payment Confirmation
When the renter OR the landlord clicks "Payment confirmed" on their dashboard, both parties receive a PDF confirmation. BidMyTimeshare.com charges zero commission — the full rental amount belongs to the landlord.
5. Cancellation Penalty
If the renter cancels after an offer is accepted:
- Minimum penalty: $130 USD
- Or: 10% of the accepted rental offer amount — whichever is greater.
The platform may charge the penalty to a card on file or issue an enforceable invoice payable within 7 days.
6. Landlord's Obligations
- The landlord must notify the resort of the tenant's details before check-in.
- The landlord is responsible for ensuring that the unit is available for the agreed dates.
- The landlord must provide the renter with all necessary check-in instructions in good time.
7. Platform's Role
BidMyTimeshare.com (operated by Timeshare Global Solutions Limited) is a marketplace only. The platform is not a party to any rental agreement, payment, or dispute between landlords and renters.
8. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not agreed, the competent courts of the British Virgin Islands.
